When should I schedule my INFINITI vehicle inspection?
You should schedule your complimentary inspection appointment approximately two months before the end of your lease. It is important that your vehicle is inspected prior to returning your vehicle so that you can make any necessary repairs.
What are my end of lease options?
You have three options at the end of your INFINITI lease:
1. Upgrade to a newer INFINITI.
2. Buy the vehicle for the payoff amount as agreed to in the lease.
3. Return your leased vehicle.
How do I purchase my leased vehicle?
You can purchase your current vehicle for the price that was agreed to when you signed your lease. Your lease may require you to pay other charges such as sales tax, registration, a purchase option fee, and/or other miscellaneous charges.
What are the benefits of purchasing my leased vehicle?
There are many benefits to purchasing your leased vehicle. If you’ve gone over the mileage limit or have dents and other wear and tear damage, purchasing the vehicle removes all those charges since you’re not returning the car.
You can finance the buyout through a lender of your choice, potentially securing better rates. There’s also no need to adjust to a new vehicle with new or different features, or financing process.
Can Motor Werks INFINITI complete the end-of-lease inspection?
We can accept the return of the vehicle after the inspection, but the inspection must be done AIM. Call 1-800-253-9026 or visit selfschedule.aiminspect.com for a complimentary and required vehicle inspection.
What happens if I skip the complimentary pre-inspection?
If you choose to return your vehicle without the pre-inspection, an inspection will take place at a later date to determine what, if any, excessive wear and use charges apply.
What if I want to end my lease early?
You’re free to buyout your lease anytime, or you can actually trade-in your car whenever you want. If you want to turn your vehicle in early, you will only be responsible for the remaining payments on your lease, unless you’re issued a loyalty waiver. If you lease or buy another INFINITI, we’ll waive up to $500 in excess wear-and-use charges and your disposition fee, if applicable, on your current IFS lease.
