Nissan Launches Infiniti India

Have you heard the news? Auto markets across the globe, especially in countries like India, Russia, and China, are growing rapidly-though the U.S. still takes the cake for being a car-commuting society. Because of its recent successes in India, luxury brand Infiniti will be setting up shop there to assemble its premium vehicles in the country, as opposed to continuing to export them from other places. A number of auto manufacturers are making this switch- including some key Infiniti competitors such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

When Montreal Artist Heidi Taillefer spent over 300 hours in one month painting the Infiniti G37 Art Car in 2009, she knew it would eventually be auctioned for charity. She didn't know, however, that the vehicle would raise $55k for ONE DROP- a foundation created by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte to provide safe water to people in need on an International level. Infiniti is a corporate sponsor of the amazing Cirque du Soleil, which the Art Car has been touring with for the past two years. The car was originally created in celebration of Infiniti's 20th anniversary, in conjunction with Cirque du Soleil's 25th anniversary.

One major department making the move is marketing communications and some 100 other employees who will report back to the main headquarters in Yokohama Japan.

It may seem like an odd choice for a Japanese company to move their headquarters all the way to China, but in…

With their hand already in 37 markets worldwide, moving into the Mexican market only seems like a logical decision. And for this Japanese luxury automaker, its become a reality. Five Infiniti models, the Infiniti QX56, G37, M37, M56, and the FX50 to be exact, just made their way south of the border, into Mexico where they were greeted by 350 guests at the company's official launch event.

The center piece of the night, a…

When Infiniti premiered the Sebastian Vettel edition of the already popular 2012 Infiniti FX50 at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, everyone had one question: When is it going into production? Unfortunately, the answer appeared to be never, as the model was noted as being the most power and exclusive Infiniti ever made. And by exclusive, the Japanese luxury automaker meant that it was built for one driver, and one driver only: Red Bull championship…

With the release of the 2011 model-year Infiniti G sedan, we saw the introduction of the 2.5-liter, V6 G25 sedan. This year, the G line gets even more refined via subtle yet impactful changes to the Limited Edition and Sport Appearance Edition models. For example, the Infiniti G37 Limited Edition goes a bit more classic, trading in its previous Monaco Red interior for a sleek Graphite hue; tonal Black Obsidian exterior; and 18-inch, dark-finish…

Infiniti's new JX Crossover is set to debut at dealerships (e.g., Motor Werks Infiniti of Barrington) in early 2012 as a 2013 model. Until then, we are left to speculate about this highly anticipated, three-row crossover. Wouldn't it be nice to own a vehicle that was as rugged as a crossover and as smooth-riding as a sports sedan? Well, you needn't dream any longer. According to independent reviewers, the Infiniti EX offers drivers the best of both worlds. In fact, based on in-depth analysis of nearly 40 published vehicle reviews and test drives, the 2011 Infiniti EX has been named "2011 Best Luxury Compact Crossover for the Money", by…
